Learning TESOL make mebetter

Life is a long January. In this process, we havevariety of different roles. If we want to do a good job in each role, we mustcontinue to work hard and keep learning. Then can make ourselves better and excellent.

In march of last year, I had a new identify, I becamea mother, from the pregnancy to the birth of the baby. I realized that it's noteasy to be a mother, but when I see the lovely baby, I feel everything is worthit.   As a new mother. Many things have tobe learned from zero. I learned how to breastfeed, how to put the baby tosleep, how to cook baby meals, how to be patient with the company and so on.Everything will never be done, but I must learn. It was hard work, but I enjoyit.

It's just like me learning English, I know it's noteasy. It's a lot of pay out, but I like it, because I want to be a goodteacher. I want to be excellent, I want to be proud of my son.

For this reason, I chose to learn TESOL. Although I ambusy with work, and also have a young child to take care of. But I still needto spare time to study ,a good study can benefit me for a lifetime. With greatexcitement. I took a plane from Wuhan to Beijing and come to the TESOLheadquarters to learn the course.

On the first day of course, when I walked into theclassroom of TESOL headquarters, I saw the very warm classroom, the lovelystaff and the handsome teachers. I was very happy. I found my seat and sat downto prepare for the next course. As time goes on, I got to know six newclassmates and teacher Alex, he taught us many interesting games and greatsongs that I had never known before, I think it's very practical and can makemy class more rich and interesting.

The second day, I have learned about how to teachspeaking .Alex taught us 10 very practical games,   In class, the teacher would like usparticipate in the interaction and put what we have learned into practice,which made us more impressed and could be better applied to our future classes.For example, I have learned the game “four corners” “big circle ,small circle” “tictac toe” “hangman” and so on, I never know before.afternoon ,I learned abouthow to make mind maps,there are 8 kinds of mind maps,   include bubble maps,double bubble maps,flowmap,multi flow map ,circle map,tree map,brace map,bridge map.   I like these very much, because these canprovide a common language that all students, teachers and school,   these are apply across all subjects and gradeleaves,   these are lead to meaningful 、memorableand   focus on learning,   This is the best way to teach for visuallearners. When different TM are used to go deeper and more complex on a giventopic there effectiveness is increased.These are tools for lifelong learning,it can be applied to just about any Information,   I'm very exciting!when I come back, I can useit to my class,   I think my students willenjoy and benefit from it.

The third day ,we have learned about how to teachvocabulary, It's very important for me , because I have never teach vocabularygood before ,I used to teach vocabulary by repetition ,which was veryboring.now I have learned many steps and games to make the class more rich andvivid.the most effective way is teaching vocabulary in context.before Ilearned, I just teach the words themselves without putting them in contact. Itwas hard to memory them clearly. Now learn the words in contact. They're easyto understand and easy to master,   It'sgreat for the students.

The fourth day,we have learned about how to make alesson plan ,wow,it’s very important for the class, It determines the topic ofthe class, the style of the class, and the input and gain of the students inthe class,   It keep a teacher on target,Have a teacher think logically, give a teacher confidence. Have a teacher focuson teaching areas to improve in and so on.on the whole day, we classmates havewrote ourselves lesson plan,and excised how to teach so many times.do our bestto preform the best class .when I come back hotel,it has been 23:00 o’clockever.   

  It has been along time since I have done something so diligently, it was very hard andbrain-intensive , but it was worth it. It made me feel the happiness andenrichment brought by my efforts, as well as the learning of knowledge and theimprovement of my sense of achievement.

Tonight ,my son cried when he was videotaping me,hemisses me so much,so do I.Thinking of this ,I am more and more serious effortsto study,so that I spend time and money,can be worthwhile.Thank you to Mr.Alexand all the students who studied together.with your company,my study journey iscomplete and fulfilling,full of harvest.Thank you so much!
